If you've arrived on this page you are probably wanting to know a little bit more about me. In addition to being an author, web developer and visionary, I'm a proud police wife, mom to three great kids - Ashley Rose who is 20, Cassie - 16, and Louie - 14, and a whole bunch of furry friends.

I've been an animal lover my whole life and it wasn't until we moved to the beautiful foothills of the Smokey mountains in east Tennessee that I was really able to rescue a few sweet animals in need of a good home. Well, one thing led to another or rather, one stray after another found its way to our front door and they all decided to stay!  We have a 260lb Saint Bernard (Irene aka Reeny), a Border Collie, 2 Yorkies, a Black Lab and a Samoyed. Little by little the neighborhood cats without homes started showing up looking for a meal and a warm place they could call their own. Two of those kitties were pregnant and gave birth within a day of each other! Ha! Me and the kids are loving it!  We now have 11 cats and we even had a beautiful Cockatiel land on my husbands shoulder one day as he arrived home from work... that little guy decided to stay too. Add a couple of love birds (a birthday gift) and we could actually open Washam's Wild Kingdom!

In 1999 after a devastating and life changing heartbreak, I gave up adult website design and started a new life. It was in July of 1999 that I launched my very first online ministry Request A Miracle and on February 14, 2000, I transformed the worlds FIRST Ladies only porn site into the Internet's first faith-based Heartbreak Community (Just4Ladies.com). I found there were just as many people seeking help for a broken heart as there were people searching for porn.  Thank GOD he saved me from that life!

In 2002 I created one of the first online universities - HeartbreakUniversity.org and began teaching content from my first book, A Course in Heartbreak. The ministry kept growing and the Lord kept expanding my territory. I now have over 200,000 members on my ministry sites.  In 2005 I wrote my second book Protecting Those You Love in an X-Rated World (Bridge-Logos) and finally stepped back into my past (something I dreaded) to help people learn from what I knew about the seedy business of pornography.

I've been blessed to work with some of the greatest women authors and have even partnered with one! Linda Evans Shepherd and I run the increasingly popular web community WebTV4Women.tv where we broadcast the messages of some of the greatest ladies on the planet.

I love to create. I also love to help people who are hurting and have dedicated my life to doing so. I am blessed to be able to work from home and also have a small video studio in town where I am preparing to produce and broadcast my very first eShow Under the Willow Tree! I am super excited about that.

I am also the founder of Tennessee Police Wives, a group dedicated to supporting Tennessee Law Enforcement families. Having a successful police marriage and family is an art form and those of us who do it can use all the help and support from one another that we can get! I've met some wonderful women through TPW and we are a close knit family!

I'm a member of Women in Christian Media and also an active member of AWSA (Advanced Writers and Speakers Association) where I sit on the board. I am also a board member for Right-to-the-Heart Ministries and my part in all 3-organizations is to keep the Internet portion of each organization in the loop at on the front lines of technology.
